Reality In Other Words

Performed in 2017 at Beyond Human Impulses, Mengi, Reykjavík, and in 2018 at The Old Paper Factory in Athens.
The performance, Reality In Other Words, explores the themes, sublime and solitude, through pop culture and religion. A nun comes in, kneels down, lifts her head up and says; Despite the limits of reality, my ego is here with us to night.  This is reality in other words.

An audio starts playing, where artist sings, with a choir kind of voice, the chorus of The Rolling Stones song You Can´t Always Get What You Want. Then the nun takes a hot dog out from her religious habit and starts eating it while the audio plays the same chorus over and over until there is nothing left but crumbs and a stain of ketchup.
